Sealanes Marine Services, Inc. (SMS) and Manpower Resources of Asia, Inc. (MRA)
are both eyeing for ISO Certification this year, 2011. The certification process
is being headed by the QMS officer of both companies, Eddelyn Operio and Jennahlyn Jardiniano. |

Both companies are now looking for credible and competent certifying body. Some
of their choices are TUV SUD, Certification International and SGS Philippines. These
certification bodies are known to have competent auditors and accredited
certification process. As of the moment, both companies are in documentation
stage. They are planning to finish the documentation of systems and procedures
of each departments included in the scope of accreditation by 2011. |

The ultimate objective of being certified for both companies, MRA and SMS, is internal
benefits derived from certification such as measuring the productivity and efficiency
of each department through their Key Performance Indicator (KPI) which will eventually
lead to satisfying the customers of the company. |
