Sealanes Marine Services, Inc. (SMS) is a Philippine corporation engaged in crewing and manning of sea-going vessels, duly licensed by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) of the Philippine Department of Labor and Employment, since 1978. SMS is an affiliate of Multiplan International Technical Services Inc., with representative office in Belgium. SMS is a recipient of the POEA Top Performer Award and a member of the Filipino Association for Mariners Employment (FAME).

Since its founding, SMS has provided maritime personnel, both Officers and ratings to various types of sea-going and offshore vessels, such as roro vessels, passenger ferries, general cargo, bulk carriers, heavy lifts, anchor handling vessels, supply vessels, multi-purpose vessels etc.

SMS continues to initiate training programs both in-house and in collaboration with the leading training centers in the Philippines for continuous upgrading of skills, technical expertise, increased productivity and improvement of occupational health and safety of our seafarers.

Our experience in crewing and manning industry in the past 32 years, enabled us to developed competent Officers and Ratings, Catering, Hotel, Retail Outlets and Casino Personnel for passenger vessels, whose knowledge and expertise in their respective jobs makes them highly desired by our foreign shipowner clients, even under numerous challenges, demanding work conditions and diversity in cultures.

On behalf of some of its clients/principals, SMS has signed Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) with the Associated Marine Officers and Seamen’s Union of the Philippines (AMOSUP), the Philippine affiliate of ITF.

SMS enjoys a high reputation because its assumes and carries out responsibilities that go beyond recruitment and deployment but also includes protection and welfare programs fot the benefit of it's seafarers and their families. For example, it operates a Philippine Central Bank-licensed non-stock loans and savings association for its employees, seafarers and their families, to give financial help in times of emergency, school tuition fees, illness and accidents of family members.
